Fuel Fund of MarylandSay "hasta la vista" to summer with the Fuel Fund of Maryland’s SALSABRATION...a night of friendraising and fundraising with flavorful food, Latin dancing, silent auction, and fun at its new location the Havana Club, Baltimore’s hottest upscale venue.

SALSABRATE” the end of summer Thursday, September 4th and help the Fuel Fund of Maryland provide year round energy assistance for low income families. Say “hasta la vista” to summer with the Fuel Fund of Maryland!

"Begin with a Book"

Open a book and open a mind... Open a mind and open opportunities... Join FOX45, CW Baltimore and St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore to help children this new school year. Begin With A Book! Donate new and gently used children's books to give kids the opportunity to read.

We will have two public donation / collection sites:

September 12th during our "Drive By Book Drop" LIVE on FOX45 Morning News from 6am - 9am at:
WBFF-TV (parking lot)
2000 West 41st Street
Baltimore, MD 21211


September 27th & 28th during the Baltimore Book Festival from 11am-7pm:
Historic Mount Vernon Place
600 Block of North Charles Street
St. Vincent De Paul staff will collect books at the Children's Park

"Begin With A Book" is a campaign inviting viewers to donate new and gently used children's books to encourage reading by giving opportunity for kids to have a book of their own and to have reading resources as part of their recreational and leisure time. Books will be distributed to children in head start and after school programs as well as homeless shelters.
